On a recent trip to Croatia, we made a last-minute decision to stop in Zadar on our way from Plitvice Lakes to Dubrovnik. Our aspiration, to hear for ourselves the mesmerizing sounds of Nikola Bašić's Sea Organ. Made-up of 35 pipes that stretch across 70 meters of the beautiful Zadar Peninsula coastline, the Sea Organ is a true architectural wonder. The pipes are located at the lowest level of the tide and as the sea greets the instrument it creates a unique song to accompany the beautiful sunset.

When we arrived around 7:00PM, we joined the crowd that had already gathered along the steps of the Organ, listening to its mesmerizing moans as the sun began to set.
